Heart Failure Waypoint Support

Heart Failure Waypoint helps adults living with heart failure look after themselves between visits. Made by Myocognia AI.

In an emergency, call 911. For questions about your health or your medicines, contact your care team. This page is for help with the app only.

How do I connect Apple Health?

During setup, tap Connect Apple Health. On Apple's screen, tap Turn On All, then Allow: Waypoint's checks use every item (blood oxygen, heart rate, heart rate variability, respiratory rate, resting heart rate, sleep, ECG, weight, blood pressure and steps). To change it later, open the Health app → tap your picture → Apps → Waypoint. Me → Settings → Apple Health shows what Waypoint is receiving. Apple Watch data appears after your watch syncs with your iPhone.

What do the warnings mean?

Waypoint compares your readings with your care team's limits and with your own usual values from Apple Health. When something changes, it tells you what to do: keep a close eye and do a check-in, call your clinic today, or call your care team now. Every warning also says when to call 911. Waypoint can warn you with a notification even when the app is closed. It cannot call anyone by itself: the Call 911 button opens your iPhone's call screen. Warnings are not a diagnosis.

For extra safety, also turn on Apple's own Emergency SOS, Medical ID and, on Apple Watch, Fall Detection.

Do I need an account?

No. Tap Use on this phone only to use Waypoint without one. A free account backs up your information. To create one, tap Me → Create a free account, type your email and enter the 6-digit code we send you. The code can take a minute to arrive, so check your junk folder too.

How do AI answers work, and how do I turn them off?

The Ask tab writes answers with Google Gemini, using the Waypoint library, U.S. FDA drug labels and MedlinePlus, and shows its sources. It asks your permission first. To turn it off, go to Me → Settings → Privacy and switch off Online answers from Google Gemini.

How do I export or delete my information?

Me → Settings → Export my data gives you a copy. Me → Settings → Delete my account (or Delete all data on this phone) deletes everything permanently.

Reminders or warnings do not arrive

Open the iPhone Settings → Notifications → Waypoint and turn on Allow Notifications. Then check the times in Me → Settings → Reminders and privacy.

Waypoint asks me to unlock it, or shows "Something went wrong"

Waypoint asks for Face ID or your passcode when it opens and after 5 minutes away. You can switch this off in Me → Settings. If a screen shows "Something went wrong", tap Try again; if it happens again, send us the report from Me → Settings → Problem reports. It contains only the error, never your health information.

Privacy Policy · Waypoint is not a medical device and does not replace your care team.
